A true "port" of netscape will never exist. However, there are valuable 
algorithms within the navigator such as HTML interpretation that could be a 
tremendous timesaver when creating a true GUI browser for the //gs.

I think any programmer would agree that a simple "port" of the navigator source 
code is just not feasible on the //gs, with or without a MS compatible C++ 
compiler. 

And if a programmer told turley that he would "work on a port of netscape" to 
the //gs, he propably meant only a portion of the HTML interpretation routines.

And FYI - The entire project is NOT written in 100% c++. There is a fair amount 
of "C" code lingering in the project (just like 90% of all other software 
development projects).

Turn your rant machine off... It is definitely malfunctioning.
