So?  Gemulator "plays" Macintosh 68k much faster than a Quadra
...does that mean that you as a Macintosh supporter would feel
good switching to Wintel?  I am talking about when you were a 68k
user.  If it was equally possible to take your 68k software to Wintel
or PowerMac, would you be happy with Wintel?  I am not happy
with replacing my real GS with Bernie...

And you are not even addressing the statement.  Why don't you
admit you will take a speed hit whenever complex sound and
graphics are played?  Bernie's authors say so...

You have a 15Mhz ZipGS?  You said you have a 9Mhz ZipGS.
How about a 20Mhz ZipGS?  There are no 20Mhz ZipGS...

A Quadra is like a II+?  What the ****?  A Mac 128 is like a II+.
The Quadra is actually useful.  It is more like the IIe.  For the
IIe, one could have upgraded to an IBM AT with a Trackstar
hardware emulator or to an Apple IIGS.  Upgrading to the IBM
AT is not the same.  This just like upgrading to Bernie is not
the same as a real GS upgrade.  Also just the same as upgrading
to Gemulator would not make Mac users happy.

Many, many people still use 68k Macs.  Gemulator is a valid
upgrade.  Will it make Mac 68k users as happy as PowerMac?
No...same reason Bernie can't replace a real Apple IIGS.  That's
the problem...you keep saying getting a PowerMac is the best
way to upgrade a GS...that's insulting. It is like telling a Quadra
user (still many 68k Mac users) to upgrade to Wintel+Gemulator
instead of PowerMac.
