    I prefer to keep a real Apple IIgs on my desk (15 MHz, 5 MB RAM,
RamFAST SCSI, 330 MB hardrive, 1.44 MB SuperDrive, Audio Animator,
etc) and play with that. I really have a strong liking for software 
emulators, but they can never be replacements for the real thing.

    As for going beyond what my real GS offers, I have a PC system
for those needs. Granted XGS isn't much in terms of speed (it runs 
just a couple of megahertz faster than a stock GS on my P166) and
compatibility, there may soon be an PC version of Bernie. :) Even
if BTTR PC appears and is as good as the Mac version, I still doubt 
I would retire my real GS.
