Apart from a number old old DOS 3.3 viruses, only five serious virus
programs are known: The Prodos 8 viruses CyberAids, Festering Hate and
BURP and two gs-specific viruses named Lode Runner and BlackOut.

CH, FH and BURP are classic destructive viruses which trash your hard
drive when they are activated.

Lode Runner is non-destructive. When it goes off, it displays a countdown
and lock the system.

Blackout is non-destructive, too. It sets the text and background colors
to black and makes you think your computer is damaged. Just boot with
option-ctrl-reset and press "2" and the settings will be restored. The
GS Toner 1.0 program contains a trojan horse with the same effect.

There are several good virus killers, maybe the best is Virus RX by Glen
Bredon. You can download it from the major ftp sites, but it requires
registration. Does anybody know if Glen Bredon is still around?

Hope this helps!
