RGB card for IIe? Which monitor does this work with?

I have an RGB card for the IIe. I tested it out last night. However, I'm a
bit confused by it. I placed the card where an 80column/64k memory card
would go.
First off I'm not sure how much memory this RGB card has built in.
Secondly, I hooked up a IIgs monitor to it and couldn't see anything on the
monitor. Am I missing something, isn't the IIgs monitor RGB? Or do I need
another type of monitor for the IIe RGB card? The RGB card is an apple
brand make.
