shareware required

I came across somewhere a neat piece of shareware that enabled you to set
up an automatic acceptance of the default button in dialog boxes - so that
if you did not click anywhere in the box, after so many seconds it in
effect clicked return for you...   Might not seem much, but I seem to have
problems with my internet connection restarting on its own - I have my ppp
set up to spot periods of inactivity, but I have to set it up to  either
click on "shut down connection" for it to close down, or accept that it
will close without asking... first is not much help if im not at the
machine, second is useless if I am not actually doing anything for a
couple of minutes - reading a large webpage for instance.    Something
that would give me the opportunity to continue my connection when on line
at the machine, but which would close down my connection if I'm not there
to continue
Has any one got any details of any such shareware?
