The Apple ][ logo comes on the original Apple II, the II+ and the original
unenhanced IIe. The Apple //e logo appears on the enhanced Apple IIe.
Another thing is when you use a program like AppleWorks on an unenhanced IIe,
instead of seeing little checkmarks and Apple pictures (mousetext), you see
inverse uppercase letters.

Some memory upgrade and a ROM upgrade in its most basic form, but there were
several versions of the Apple IIe motherboard, it's been a long time so I
don't remember exactly what the revisions were.
