Question -- I am assuming Ian's program is an extended file.  If you
strip the resources, wouldn't you destroy the program in the process?
I am pretty sure those resources are crucial for a IIGS program's
function...

That's why when I happen to have a IIGS program on a Mac, PC,
or UNIX station, I wait until I get to the real GS before I process it.
