Alright, alright, the original poster should not have posted in
comp.os.msdos.misc. That was a mistake. But that's no reason to reply
with pure nonsense.
I, mean, how wrong can you be? The operating system for PC's is called
MS-DOS. (The 'IBM' version is called PC-DOS, but it's basically the
same.)
The operating system for Apples, though, is called DOS.

Why Mac? The IIe is not a Mac.
And besides, AFAIK there never was an OS for the Mac called 'DOS'.
