AudioZap 2.0 Freeware released

Like the subject says, at long last I have released AudioZap 2.0 as
freeware. You may freely use and distribute it as long as you don't
modify the archive. It's provided in 3 handy formats:

- SHK (GS-Shrinkit 1.1) format for those of you still puttin' more miles
on your real platinum hardware.
- ZIPped .2MG disk image format for XGS-DOS and XGS-Win32 emulator users.
- GNU .gz .2MG disk image format for XGS-Unix and KEGS.

Mac XGS and Bernie ][ users - if someone would like to .SIT up the .2MG
file I'd be happy to post that too. Please email me first to make sure
nobody else has yet though :)

All these are available at this URL:

For those of you who don't know, AudioZap is an 8-bit-only sample editor
and convertor for the Apple IIgs, somewhat like a very stripped down
version of Sound Forge (PC) or SoundEdit16 (Mac). It's fast, simple to
use, and supports a lot of file formats.

I do not read either comp.sys.apple2 or comp.emulators.apple2, so
please contact me by e-mail if you have any problems downloading the
program. I will not answer usage questions - this is unsupported
freeware. I'm releasing it solely for the entertainment of GS users and
emulator fans everywhere.

Requirements: Apple IIgs ROM 01 or 03 or emulator, 2 megs or more RAM,
System 6.0 or 6.0.1.

Thanks, and enjoy :)
