Hi,
I found a Macintosh Plus (1Mb memory) in the garbage a couple of days
ago (no mouse, no keyboard, but otherwise fully functional--or so it
seems.)
I think the beast worked with an external HD, or from floppy.
How can I write a bootable disk? Do I need a Mac (or a NeXT?) >> Can I
write it on a PC? <<
I have the .dsk image of System 6 (I think System 7 needs more than 1Mb
memory), but the computer won't boot from a System 6 floppy written on a
PC floppy unit (I understant the bit encoding is different.) This seems
more or less strange to me considering the fact that a Mac CAN read
PC-written floppies, but jusging by the experimental results... :(
Any help appreciated, thanks!
Vlad.
