Since we never got as high OS 8.1, I presume you mean Mac OS rather than
GS/OS?
You should state so explicitly, especially in a newsgroup like this!
OK, with that out of the way, I must say I would prefer messages with a
more conventional sentence to period ratio. Like, say, 1:1.
Right. Now, I see that you have tried to swich VM off, and afterwards,
to switch VM off. This immediately brings a suggestion to mind, namely,
to try to switch it on for a change. Good luck.
