There is also Beagle Brothers Flex Type which, I believe, was
reclassified as freeware with a bunch of their other titles.

This had support for 20, 40, 56 and 70 column text using the HGR
screen.  It didn't support the DHGR screen.  This made 70 column text
rather difficult to read as each character was only 3 pixels wide.

Once started, it took all output to your screen and displayed it on
the HGR screen using whatever font you wanted.  It came with several
fonts and a font editor and you could have multiple fonts loaded at a
time and switch between them fairly easily.

This product has the same problem Nathan mentioned above.  Scrolling
was quite slow.
