I'm still trying to figure out why people say that Apple "crippled" the
III's Apple II emulator when they made it work like an Apple ][. Is that
not what emulation means? People who spout this (the vast majority of
which have never touched an Apple III I suspect) should be happy that it's
possible to use IIgs features from ProDOS 8 apps, allowing the idiocy which
is euphemistically referred to as "hybrid applications".
