My jury is still out on the EtherWave. I bought (2) different models on eBay, a "mantaray" style unit and an iPrint LT. Neither of them is working properly in my environment. Any connection I establish from a IIGS spontaneously self-destructs after about 2 minutes of inactivity. Each side thinks the other shut down and I strongly suspect the bridge is ceasing to forward ASP packets just prior to that (from watching das blinkenlites).

This is the same problem I've traditionally had with FastPath 5 units. Oddly, my FP4s and Gatorboxes work flawlessly.

Since Tony speaks so highly of the Farallon units, I'm not going to give up yet. Still need to get a wireshark packet trace for Geoff Body to look at. Maybe something will jump out.
