ahhhh....  a NEWCOMER!  :)  i started getting "hooked" on the ][
series when my Jr. High school had Apple ][ systems.  (not ][+, nt
//e, etc.)  most had 16k, but some had a whopping (!!) 48k!  that was
in/around 1981, when we had DOS 3.2 ....

i knew then that Apple had planned on getting kids interested in the
Apple ][ at school so that (in theory) they would bug their parents to
get them one for home.  since my family couldn't afford one, i decided
i would get my one one day.  in '89, i finally got one-- a //gs (with
ROM 01), and i don't ever regret getting it.  (okay, i might actually
part with my PC Transporter, but i'm KEEPING my Sonic Blaster!  <g>)
