Okay. But when I examined my version of NPS which was installed on a
hard drive, I saw that the subdirectory structure was a little different
than on the 3.5" discs. For one thing, I think you can skip the step
about copying PRODOS and PS.SYSTEM into the root directory of the disc.
Just copy all the files into the subdirectory PS. Plus, all the files in
subdirectory PS, with the exception of PS.SYSTEM, have their filetypes
changed to $F5 and their aux types changed to $0000. This may or may not
be significant. PS.SYSTEM keeps the file type SYS and the aux type
$2000. Finally, you have to set up the data file (the ones with the
graphics, borders and fonts) subdirectory structure differently. NPS
expects that on the hard drive you will have a subdirectory called PSD.
The data file should be placed in that subdirectory, and probably should
be named PSL.DATA, rather than PSL.DATA3, although that may not make a
difference. So, the subdirectory structure for the NPS on hard drive is:

/PS
  all the program files
/PSD
  /PSL.DATA
    /GRAPHICS
      all the graphics files
    /BORDERS
      all the border files
    /FONTS
      all the font files
    /USER
any NPS project files you want to save on the hard drive

When you have NPS on the hard drive, you can put multiple data file
libraries under the subdirectory PSD. Just make sure each library starts
with the 4 characters "PSL.".
