Thanks for all the great info on the cables etc. It's great to know
there is a cheaper option for fixing my CB card, especially as my PC
laptop has a parallel port built in (that I mostly use for connecting
to my EPROM programmer). I did indeed try wiggling the video cable,
actually this was the first thing I did...unfortunately this didn't
work.

I can't remember my CB card coming with a 'separate wires' cable, but
it might have and I just may have misplaced it. Is this just a header
plug (is this what it's called) that plugs into the header pins on the
CB, with wires coming off it? If so them maybe I can make something to
this effect.
