The Lisa WAS a beautifully engineered computer, but Jobs did not
engineer it. The most he did was outline a concept, but even that came
from Palo Alto. I'll give him this -- he can move talented people. It is
those talented people who engineered the Lisa. Wozniak actually did
engineer the Apple II. Later, Wozniak helped engineer the IIGS....
I am not sure I agree with Jobs being whole hog on lots of features
either. Jobs liked to keep things simple and sweet. That's why he
pushed for a closed, unexpandable box of a Mac.
