Does the //e System Self-Test (Closed Apple-Control-Reset) test both
the main 64K memory bank AND a 64K memory bank if an Extended 80-
Column Card is present? In other words, is it possible that a RAM
error could reflect a problem with the AUX card rather than
motherboard RAM?
I have a RAM error upon doing the System Self-Test. However, when I
run MECC Computer Inspector, it tells me that the main RAM is fine but
the AUX RAM has a problem. Could this possibly mean that all I have
to do is replace the Extended 80-Column Card (rather than poking
around with the motherboard RAM, which I am woefully ill-equipped and
ill-experienced to do)?
