As Mitch Spector recently observed, Scantron has dropped a lot of
their A2 titles. This plus information from Dr. Tom that Abracadata was
considering making their A2 stuff freeware makes it seem unlikely that
Design Your Own Model RR is still 'in print' and available from
Scantron.
A check of Abracadata's web site (
http://www.abracadata.com/dyor.html ) shows "Design Your Own Railroad"
available for PC ($49.95) and Mac ($59.95). It supports HO, N, Z, ...
scale.
Abracadata lists some other RR programs; but, A2 classics like
Railroad Works, are not shown. You can check with the company at
800-451-4871.
