...let's not forget that the price for the Lisa was a bit....
..intimdating.  remember, that the Lisa was something that hadn't
been tried before (a computer with a GUI OS!), that Apple leased the
rights to (from Xerox's SmallTalk)...  its price was something in the
order of US $10,000....

"seems" is the operating word here.  i think that it's BECAUSE of Jobs
that Apple is going to go away soon.  i give it five years (and i'm
being generous).

i'll be interested to see if Jobs' association with Gates affects the
development of Rhapsody....  they're SUPPOSED to port it to intel
machines, but i fear it won't happen, lest they step on PunySquishy's
toes-- after such kindness they showed in forking over all that
cash...  <shrug>
