Spectrum's editor lets you search for these and other characters.  In
fact, I think Spectrums find feature will let you do find and/or
replace on any of the 256 ASCII characters.  With the possible
exception of CTRL-@ (null, ASCII 0).

To find control characters such as tab, return, linefeed, etc you
would search for ^I, ^M, ^J, etc repectively.

You can also enter option characters to access the high ASCII
characters.
