Not any longer--Scantron Quality Computers actually discontinued
AppleWorks GS and no longer sell it. The only source it's available
through now is Alltech Electronics, but you only get copies of the
disks (no box or manual, and you cannot purchase those separately).

Other than selling AppleWorks Classic for the 8-bit Apple II,
Scantron Quality Computers has more or less gone the way of companies
like Vitesse or Econ in terms of the Apple II products and support.

Upgraded system or not, AppleWorks GS 1.1 is quite buggy and
even unstable. The word processor module is quite nice, as it is
an updated version of MultiScribe GS (once a very popular program)
but should be avoided for any heavy or very important work (don't
try writing a term paper in there, as I made the mistake of doing
many times :/). I agree about using more stable (and much faster)
alternatives, like AppleWorks Classic or even ProTERM 3.1's editor.
