     True enough. In any case, adding System patches which eliminate
bugs seems like a good idea.

     One possible explanation for the stability of the program on your
GS is that you have done some PS and motherboard mods to eliminate noise
glitching. A large application like Awks-GS is especially vulnerable to
noise-induced memory and I/O errors. Getting rid of glitching would tend
to make Awks-GS on your system much more stable than Awks-GS on a
glitchy system.
