I recall in high school I needed to swap stuff around and needed to
take my RamFactor out of slot 5. Pulled the computer forward, lifted
case. Forgot to turn off power first and when I lifted the card, it
didn't go straight out and instead the front half came up first and it
let the magic smoke out, not to mention glitched the computer
temporarily. A local shop was able to fix it, but damn it sucked
running AppleWorks until we got it back. Glad I didn't kill the
computer at least.
