Trying to set up an portable IIc+
I am trying to set up a IIc+ system that is completely portable.
I've asked people about converting LCD screens, but no one wants to help.
I've tried looking for an LCD to buy, but they are WAaaaaay too expensive.
So, I am trying a Portable TV approach. The problem with the portable TV
is that the IIc+ seems to cause interference for the TV.
This is with the IIc+ and the TV plugged into a 120v outlet. The TV
receives only Static. I turn off the IIc+, and I can see channel 3.
I have a modulator hooked to the IIc+, set for channel 3. The modulator
is hooked to the portable TV's input.
Is there any way to stop this interference caused by the IIc+?
Is there any way to convert an LCD screen to be used by the IIc+?
Has anyone made a home-built battery pack for the IIc+?
My last question is not completely apple II related, but here it is anyway
(I would not post this, but It seems like people who read this group know
some stuff about monitors/tv's)
The portable TV that I have is not bright enough. Is there any adjustment
that I can make to make it brighter? (I tried the contrast/brightness
controls on the OUTSIDE of the TV. Still too dim)
On the inside, I see many potentiometers. they are labeled: vl, vh, uh
(frequencies) rfagc, vr601, unlabeled
There may be more, But I would have to remove more parts to get at them.
Do you know how to increase the brightness of a TV? This is NOT an LCD
screen. It is a MINI TV.
