AWGS is using 640 mode.  The graphic is in 320 mode.  AWGS is
trying to read the image in memory, meant for 320 mode, as a 640
mode graphics.  The palette data is all incorrect.  You will need a
320 mode paint program to view the graphic properly.  If you want to
use AWGS, you'll need SuperConvert or another conversion program
to convert to 640 mode.  In the process, you lose some color depth.
640 mode programs like AWGS are better suited for line drawing
rather than graphics with shading.  In line drawing, AWGS is great.
The shapes you draw use QuickDraw II and can be scaled.  They
print out to maximum resolution and look great in the DTP module.

Think of AWGS as an early "CorelDRAW" class program and 320
mode programs as early "Photoshop" type programs.  Each has
strengths, but you would not want to import a full color JPEG into
DRAW.

Use SuperConvert to convert the graphic to 640 mode.

That's because the INIT can view both 640 and 320 mode graphics.
Try saving an APF picture with AWGS.  The INIT will display it just as
clearly as FILE.
