As this is a non-Apple laser printer, you may be being bitten by
Apple's bugs. Apple's 6.0.1 Drivers did generate slightly nonstandard
postscript which some printers may refuse to deal with. While mixing
and matching drivers from OS versions is generally not recommended in
the least, the System 6.0 Laserwriter driver is supposed to be
generate slightly more compatible postscript output that more
non-Apple (i.e. more following the Postscript spec) printers may
prefer.

This is covered in section 7.14 of the comp.sys.apple2 Frequently
Asked Questions (FAQ) at http://www.visi.com/~nathan/a2/faq/csa2.html
"Can I generate postscript from my Apple II". Short answer: with the
System 6 laserwriter driver, you need to hold down open apple-F and
click the 'Ok' button in the dialog asking for # of copies, etc. Drops
Postscript.GS## (## is from 00 to 99) in */system/drivers that can be
taken to a Mac and tested.
