Regarding, Platinum Paint, one of the tests I tried was using the
latest PP after removing Hierarchic from the startup sequence. (I
figured that since PP has hierarchical-- that word sure is hard to
write!-- menus, it might need the Hierarchic INIT.) Perhaps you are
using a different version of PP. It turns out that v2.0.1 doesn't need
the Hierarchic INIT.
Another user recently sent me an email about the Hierarchic CDEV. I
asked him, as soon as he gets Wolf-3D, to see if there is a bomb problem
with the CDEV installed. If there is not, and if the CDEV works with
earlier versions of Spectrum, this could be another way around the bug.
I've been meaning to try out Super Menu Pack; so, your info
probably saved a lot of hassle. Thanks, again.
