Steve, you need to run the program GenEx to extract the Macintosh driver
from ADU and place this driver in the System drivers folder of the GS for
ADU to write the Mac driver partition.  I posted this program to cba2
(comp.binaries.apple2) last week.  Just check for it there.

Was the drive powered up before you turned on the computer?  Some
drives are too slow and if you have an Apple controller, will lead to a
bouncing Apple.

Are those boot blocks on the FIRST partition?  Only that one can boot
with an Apple controller.

You may have two many volumes online and p8 can't map them all.

Run GenEx to save the GenericMacSCSI driver to the System drivers
folder of the GS.  Run ADU again, but delete all the partitions but one
and make this one the entire drive.  ADU will go into hard format mode,
lock out bad sectors, and install the GenericMacSCSI driver in the driver
partition so that Macs can read the drive.  After the hard format, create
your partitions with the ProDOS one in front so you can boot.
