We had a problem something like this with a SpeeDemon accelerator
on the II+. The cure was to cut an opening in the back, mount a fan, and
blow air directly across the card.
It's hard to be sure; but, I doubt that SystemSaver-GS will supply
enough airflow even with heat sinks attached to whatever IC's are
over-heating. (The only way to find out for sure is to try it.) One
nice feature of SystemSaver-GS is that it pulls cool air into the case
instead of just blowing around hot air; so, getting one is worthwhile
whether or not you add a fan to cool the TWGS.
Supertimer's idea of using a PC cpu cooling fan sounds good. The
fans are small and do not use much power. (Be sure to get a ball bearing
model rated for the voltage you want to use.) If you can find some way
to mount the fan so that air is blown across the over-heating IC's, it
may do the trick. If you attach finned heatsinks to the IC's (fins
aligned with airflow), chances of success are even better.
