Help needed to move files between Mac and Apple II

I have recently become interested in transferring files between my
Macintosh and my old Apple IIe, partly to be able to offer different
Apple II software to a local elementary school, and partly to some new
titles to my own collection as well.

I have a Power Macintosh 7300/200 running System 7.6.1, which is capable
of reading 3.5" ProDOS disks. On the other end I have an Apple IIe with
extended 80 column card, and a dual 5.25" disk drive. The Macintosh is
capable of an Internet connection, but the Apple IIe is not. I do not
have a printer card or anything else that would be capable of supporting
a network connection of any kind on the Apple IIe, but it should be
possible to borrow a 3.5" disk drive from the elementary school.

Therefore, I'm assuming that the way I need to go is to copy files to
and from 3.5" ProDOS disks. I have been reading various FAQs and
looking at different software, but I have to admit that I'm a little
confused by it all.

I do know that I want the ability to create Apple II 5.25" disks out of
disk images that are available on the 'net, and I've gathered a handful
of applications for that purpose. I'm still stuck on getting those
applications, as well as the disk images themselves, over to the Apple
IIe.

If somebody would be willing to tell me exactly what I need and perhaps
provide a walk-through in setting things up once I have the extra 3.5"
disk drive to play with, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
