I have it and I don't like it... because it takes getting used to.  :)

This exists.  Bob Tudor's MINIMIZE 1.0 is the beast.  Like the errors
you described when using Automenus, Minimize causes some problems in
conjuction with some applications so unless there's a newer (fixed)
version than the one I tried last year you may as well pass on it.
Minimise is an init, BTW.
