I don't have a focus, but just looking at your problem a few ideas come
to mind. First, trying to copy an intact System folder from one disk
to another is a very bad idea. A better way to do this is to first install
the Focus driver (like any other proprietary device driver) into the drivers
folder and then reboot. Remember, reboot. Rebooting is very important.
Next, with the system rebooted, you should be in the Finder with the
Focus partitions on the desktop. Run the System 6.0.1 install disk
and install a fresh copy of System 6.0.1 on the Focus drive. The next
step is to quit back to the Finder and copy the Focus driver from your
old hard disk to the Focus drive's drivers folder. If all goes well, I'm
guessing you can change the boot slot to the one your Focus drive
is in and boot into the drive.
