If the information in Nate's dated accelerator FAQ does not
work and/or damaged your Zip, point your web browser to:

http://ground.isca.uiowa.edu/apple2/apple16/Hypermedia/Hypercard/
and download ZipUpgrade.SHK, my Illustrated Guide to Upgrading the
Zip GS, a HyperCard IIGS stack.  It provides more up to date
information and may work for you.  If you don't have HyperCard IIGS,
the runtime HyperCard Player can be found here too.  Also, if you
need 7 bit transfers, download ZipUpgrade.BSQ from the list of
files in the directory.

Take a look at the stack first, then tell me how is your Zip
damaged.
