At the risk of sounding like other people are, I should point out that
there are a lot of people using shell accounts on an Apple II to read this
newsgroup.  They don't have the nice graphical browsers that those of us
with Macs and PCs have and use.  Therefore, it is nicer to not use HTML
tags in this particular newsgroup.  (I'm not trying to sound insulting or
anything--I'm just trying to explain their reasoning in a much nicer manner)
