Have you considered your Ensoniq chip is at fault?  

If so.. the chip cannot be bought, you'll have to dig one up somewhere.

In a ROM 0/01 IIgs, it's simply a chip swap.

In a ROM 3 IIgs, the Ensoniq is soldered to the board
