Smaller sizes should work. After plugging in the drive, the
Focus Formatter correctly indentified the make and model,
suggesting the Focus uses an autoconfiguring BIOS to recognize
drive geometry. It has recognized IBM and Quantum drives.
I have not tested others, but I see no reason why they wouldn't
work.

Dirt Cheap Drives seem to have the lowest prices, but their
service leaves something to be desired (the guy on the phone
sounded strange, to say the least). Insite is a bit more
pricey, but the service is better.

500MB was the lowest capacity ones I could find a couple of
months ago. Good ones made by Western Digital, for example.
The 800MB one was the lowest capacity Quantum I could find
and it was refurbished (most others, including the Western
Digital model mentioned above, were new).

Good luck drive hunting!
