Interesting omission of a few facts, kiddo. Turkey left WPGS on his
web site as "freeware" for many weeks after it the 'proof' was
retracted. He knew it wasn't reclassified, yet kept up the lie. And
that is definitely piracy. Only calls to the ISP got that material
deleted from the grin.net account and another account was closed
because of pirated WPGS software which he clearly had posted *after*
it was quite proven that the reclassification was dead wrong. Go take
these claims of "not pirating" to the many ISP admins that have had to
clean up after Turkey, and they'll laugh in your face.

The claims were so bogus that the ISP had no choice but to nuke
WPGS, other ISPs had no choice but to close things due to piracy,
links to pirated materials, porno, and the like (a strict violation of
just about *every* policy olm.net had, which nobody but turley had
agreed to follow, but willingly didn't). The claims were so bogus that
wco.com had to close turkey's account over pirating LemminGS. And
that's just problems of his in 1997.
Cut the lies about "bogus"-- neutral third parties recognized them
as quite legitimate, quite serious, and quite true. Turkey pirated,
and got accounts closed for it. Quite simple, really. Too bad you're
trying to keep up this fiction that some things aren't piracy (making
you both a liar *and* a thief, versus at least a thief willing to
admit what he's doing) and work to do things legitimately-- you ASK
the authors/publishers to reclassify things rather than anything else.

And most of that is sector edited stuff (well, he's now graduated
to using a full word processor to put a readme file with an upload
claiming credit for it, just as you did the same trying to take credit
for GSHK) of others. Case in point: Mike Westerfield's description of
GSBasic as posted to csa2* last year. Instead of just saving the
postings and uploading them, in goes a few lines at the top
associating himself with the project. Is that a "large net presence"?
Possibly. Did he earn 1% of it? Hell no.
A load of badly formatted and misspelled descriptions on stuff that
*wasn't* created by someone is NOT theirs any more than graffitti'd
freeway overpasses don't belong to a bunch of miscreants. Rip out the
many things he's tried to (falsely) claim credit for-- as he did so
many times as to almost become his downfall-- and he's done little
more than pirate and flame. But, hard for you to say you've done
anything better, so you'll blindly stick up for your fellow pirate.

That line again, propagated by folks who've joined the fight in the
37th round or so. Fact: Todd Whitesel and Sheldon Simms were on csa2
well before Turkey. They know how it started. And it certainly wasn't
a big conspiracy initially, it was people defending the truth from a
self-admitted drugged out wacko. [And some of those self-admitted
drugged out times were when he was on csa2.] If you're some
johnny-come-lately, stop pretending like you know two beans about how
things began.
And this latest round was started by folks trying to defend turkey
in his absence, instead of letting sleeping dogs lie. Who wants the
flames? Definitely those who are defending fellow pirates. Who didn't
start this round? Those who'd like it when the pirates are gone and
silent. Your lies are becoming more and more apparent. Stop it.
