For 3 devices, find a Mac retailer and get a few 'phonenet' or
lookalike boxes. Uses normal phone cables to connect boxes. Much
better and cheaper than Apple's original Localtalk boxes which used a
proprietary 3-wire cable.

Very odd; that cable's supposed to work great for a 2-machine
Appletalk network.
