Re: Apple ][c and 3,5" disks



The Unidisk 3.5" 800K drive is in a white casing and it says UNIDISK on
the bottom of the case.  (There are other white external 3.5 drives that
are INCOMPATIBLE with IIc ------ get UNIDISK only!)

If your IIc lacks the checkerboard self-test, then you need to swap its
ROM for the IIc Upgrade ROM chip.  The uypgrade ROM must be installed to
allow use of the Unidisk 3.5 drive.  (I have this ROM chip with easy
installation instruction sheet, just $4.00 including postage.)
