Re: Concerning HeadHunterGS v.0.50 and the HHGS.Theme.SL archives

Apparently it was a spoof stack someone anonymously put together
and uploaded -- that is after Charles Turley announced he would be
organizing a game to counter TurkeyShoot GS, called "HeadHunter GS".
When it was found on Ground, he decided to take credit for it even
though he had no clue who or where this came from (his name was in
the credits, but it was part of the joke to mock his upcoming game).

>It contained music that was pulled from some other program.

Correction: It contained a plagiarized converted MIDI file and
MIDIsynth instrument bank/waveform. Using both those would have been
absolutely fine, what I took objection to is that the person renamed
them both and claimed they were hand assembled piece by piece and
originally composed by _him_, on his IIgs.

The music was supposed to go into the real HeadHunter GS game,
it appeared on Ground a week or so before the spoof stack appeared
and incorperated it.

I pointed it out because someone was taking credit for two
other person's work. It doesn't matter who is responsible, when
I see something like that I won't turn a blind eye. Plagiarism
is a pretty low practice.

Not much of a game, it reminds me of the old "Memory" flip
card game. The stack briefly shows what is underneath all the
cards (revealing a face with a frown) and then you must click
on the space where that card was, if you can remember.
