Here's another one--
Say a website suddenly becomes very popular and it becomes clogged, even
though the data on it isn't changing. Since AOL caches lots of pages,
odds are you could get the data via AOL even when the rest of the 'Net
can't get to the site...because AOL can give you the data from its own cache.
Same general idea, actually. I guess it is darned inconvenient at times,
but then, I don't use AOL...
