    There is no such thing as an "Apple IIs". The closest thing would be
an Apple IIgs but that is obviously not what your talking about since you
mention programs like Mathematica and Excel. :-) The machine in question
is probably the Macintosh IIsi.

    Try reposting your question to comp.sys.mac.misc, this group is for
discussion of Apple II computers (a completely different family line of
computers that was once made by Apple Computer; 1977 through to 1993).
