That would be my guess, considering there is no Apple II market
to support just the development costs alone a of new hardware card.
The idea is nice though, it would be neat if someone suddenly came
out with a 68K Macintosh or 486 PC co-processor board, a cheap and
functional SVGA board or modern wavetable sound card. :-) However,
even in the event any of these were to appear, it is unlikely I
would invest in them unless very affordable (under $50).
