I don't get the leap of logic between saying that something isn't available
on every street corner and saying that the market for it is dead. For instance,
you can't walk into any ol' store and find laserdiscs for sale. You have to
visit a specialty store or do mail order to get 'em. But the market for discs
certainly isn't dying out. Moreover, it's foolish to pay full retail plus
sales tax considering what you can save via mail order. So saying that Mac
software isn't widely available everywhere you look is a nonissue to me.

Same here. My theory is to use what I like and let everyone else do the same.
But when people start calling me names because of what I use and making
ludicrous claims about a company's products just because they have some irrat-
ional dislike for the company, I take exception to it.

Same here, Mitch helped me out when I got my first Apple III going. I didn't
know what I was doing with it so hot at first.
