What o/s arw you using? In Applesoft DOS 3.3, the command was INIT 
[filename] where filename=the basic program currently in memory (used as 
a startup program when the disk is booted). In ProDOS, there is no 
command to init disks, you have to run a disk setup utility, such as Copy 
][+, instead...
