I started porting Sweet16 to Cocoa a few weeks ago with the intention
of eventually doing an iPad port. That said, I have serious doubts
that Apple would approve it, since it would involve allowing users to
copy an Apple IIgs ROM into it, which seems unlikely to fly with
Apple, given that they own the copyright to the ROM.

The C64 emulator is something of a special case, because the folks
that developed it actually have a license for the C64 ROM, as well as
the software that runs inside it.
