Actually, Borland *did* produce an Apple II version of Turbo Pascal 3.0.  I
have a copy, and can report that it runs just fine on my IIGS.

The catch is that it only runs under CP/M.  You can't use it unless you have
a Z80 card.


This was yet another example of Thrift Store Treasures.  I found it a month
or so ago ago the local Goodwill, and was amazed to see that it was still
in its original shrink wrap, and doubly amazed when I saw the label that
said "Apple II Disks Inside."
